LaineyT please, please don't apologise, there's no need.
Late post from me today, I was up at 2, after a strange night. Don't know why buy goodness am I tired now.
So I did what you do in the middle of the night, baked a cake for a friend, washed up the baking things, swished round the kitchen and bathroom and finished ababy jumper.
Since the, I have had a shower, visited friend and gone out to lunch and returned. We both had smoked salmon fishcake with a poached egg and fries.absolute delicious and I am stuffed.
A man us here to mend the door, he possibly will have to come back with bits and also our loo which decided that flushing was for wimps this week.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -

Snoozer you are right I don't know why I put One down instead of Two, it was really good this afternoon. Perhaps it was because it was on my sheet that I get at the start of every term :)to say what we are looking at that week.
Tutor made us all a delicious fruit flan to have with our coffee, made with kiwi, blueberries ,strawberries and blackberries with a french almond custard base under the fruit .She is an amazing cook, as well as being a great tutor. Just bak at home now as my son-in-law is working from home today so I have the afternoon off from DGS.

Thank you all so much for your lovely support, it means a great deal to know that all my virtual friends are rooting for us xx
Home now after dropping Mum off at DB's, my other SIL and her fella dropped in at the bungalow for a flying visit on their way to a weekend break so was great to catch up their various news. The community Stoma nurse was lovely and put Mum at ease straight away, all is healing well and she doesn't need to see anyone now for a fortnight. She was very tired by the time we got back so went straight to bed, even though it's only half an hour each way think the travelling really takes it out of her. Am tempted to have a nap myself but don't want to spoil tonight's sleep so having a coffee instead but suspect a glass of wine will come into the equation at some point tonight :T
DOH is cutting the grass and has just hobbled in having been stung by a wasp on the foot, it was while he was doing the grass under the apple tree, they are dozy and viscous this time of year, wasps that is not other halves!
Have a good evening all xx0 -
Lainey we have all had our problems and had a good vent to our virtual friends on here. Many of us have been where you are and know what you are going through, if you want to get things off of your chest vent away hun xx
Had quite a productive day today, it has been miserable and rainy so I decide to clear DH's tools out into the shed so that I can get my house back, in the hall alone was his carpet machine, crosscut saw and a load of small tools  He will probably moan when he gets in........diddums!
Going to Bletchley tomorrow, want to go to Matalan Home Bargains and TK Max.
Dinner tonight is mince hotpot with kale, I love winter foods
Still not cold enought to put the heating or light the fire, just a cardi and slippers keeps the chill out, saving it until it really gets cold, but we don't like it too hot, my friend and the outlaws have put their heating on already
BFN xxBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Just had to pop my head around the door to say my eldest DGS Danny face timed me tonight he and his girlfriend Hayley are getting married on Christmas Eve !! and I am so pleased for them both He is off to the U.S. to live and work in the New Year so they decided that for them to be apart such along way just wouldn't work. They are such a nice happy pair and are like pepper and salt as you rarely see one without the other. I couldn't be more pleased for them both and my eldest DD is grinning like a Cheshire Cat bless her.
and so am I:):):):):):):)
