Sorry for the late reply, I was talking to a friend about a recent fine and had forgot to update about my appeal. I have not received anything back in response. I called the retail managers and was promised an email would be sent on my behalf (this appears to have worked) in addition to my appeal letter. Thank you everyone for your help. Much appreciated. Thanks for update. PE are normally very disciplined in confirming a cancellation. If I were you I'd check their website and go as if to pay your ticket - and check it's status.

Have you moved address in the recent past (between initial PCN and now)?
