Morning ((((((((((Hugs )))))))))) if you need one.
Off in a mo to Aldi and the library, shopping for my neighbour whose husband is in QMC, she does not drive, another neighbour is taking her visiting.
Coolish this morning, have the little fire on in the bedroom for an hour whilst we get up and also the fan in the wet room.
My late sons house went on the market last week, it looks as if it has been sold, so my Grand daughter will be able to get her hands on the money, she has been trying to get money from the solicitor ever since he died last Christmas. It will be a lot around £50,000 to much for someone of her age to cope with. My guess is it will all be gone, and she will be back on benefits within 12 months. The other three cannot touch theirs until they are 18.

Morning :hello:
It's very cold this morning, I've put the heating on. It's on timer at the mo but I might flick it to constant to get the towels dry.
I have some work to do, I'm going to limit myself to just an hourAlso need to update my spreadsheets, I haven't done it for a couple of weeks.
I'll be in the kitchen this morning, it's not too bad in there so it shouldn't take long. The drawers are very messy – things seem to get flung back in wherever there's a space - so I'll empty them, give them a scrub then put things back tidily.
I'm hoping to stop at 2pm today, I need a couple of hours of nothing

Morning chums,
Jings this week has flew in and weather has been half decent. Today's to be dry in Glasgow yet cloudy, no change there then.
Yesterday evening I went straight home and tidied up. Using the Kon Marie Method for papers and books. My place was never messy however my GF noticed it as soon as she walked in so it must've done something. Afterwards we watched the bake off and the person I had in the MSE sweepstake was kicked off - boo!! Then we watched the Amanda Knox documentary on Netflix which was very interesting, full of twists and turns.
Today will be a busy day of work then I'll go to the gym afterwards. Again I think the other half is coming over tonight so we'll chill in front of the TV later at night.
TA - Glad things are ok with you DS now. I can only imagine the relief you'll all feel.
AoD - Toothache is just a crippling annoyance. Hope it calms down soon.
Dumpling - Huge well done on yesterday and delighted you enjoyed it. Hopefully much of the same today too.0 -
Morning Everyone - blimey I feel like I'm late for school assembly lol
Big hugs and positivity to all in need - for those in a dark place - keep going, you've got this.
Lovely (again) to hear good news and moving on news - thank you for sharing. Hot baths and hugs for those with health grumbles. Coxy - don't let anyone guilt-trip you or take the shine off your new job news OK? Dumpling - I'm so pleased for you xx
Lots of work done yesterday - now to put it all away again lol Will take advantage of lovely sunshine to freshen up out of storage clothes I think - and then an hour in my studio (sounds grander than it is - but fake it til you make it and all that!).
Have a fab day all and if you've got 10 mins to stand in the sunshine do it (top up Vit D levels at same time yay).2022 | Back to the fold - need a Money Saving mojo reboot!

Lots of good news on the daily at the moment, let's hope it continues. Congratulations Coxy and Dumpling on your achievements. I'm glad your mum is doing well Lainey.
The honeymoon couple are due back tomorrow so we went down and DH mowed the lawn and I made the bed with the new bedding I bought them. Unfortunately I was bitten by the cat fleas again - DiL mum who does their cleaning said she would take something to deal with them but I think she forgot. The horrid things seem to love feasting on me - no-one else seems to be affected.
We have a new tumble dryer arriving today - the old one has been struggling for a while (it's not one of the recalled ones) and it started leaking as well so we decided to get a new one. I need to clean behind the old one before it comes.
DH is still working from and has managed to turn my days off kilter, he's a night owl and is staying up until the early hours working which means that I am sleeping later and waking later. It's very annoying.0 -
Morning all,
Lovely sunny morning here, not very warm, but pleasant......will try to persuade OH to come out the field that has cattle in it as it usually it has the best blackberries, and I'm a wuss where cattle are concerned. Need to go to town for a few bits, probably have lunch out as neither of us has eaten yet!
Dumpling.....congratulations, congratulations, congratulations!!! You should be so proud of yourself.
Coxy congratulations on job.
TA...so pleased for your son.
AOD......can feel your pain, used to have many problems with my teeth, so know what you are going through.
Need to move......OH getting antsy to be off!
Have a good day everbody.

Back from the dentist, have a course of antibiotics. Not fortunately, the one I m allergic to, I always check rather than just saying ok. They all seem to affect my insides quite dramatically, possibly tmi to write more, but that does not make me any thinner.
I have bed linen to change and hoovering to do, there is no end to my life of fun and frolic! Now there's a word you don't often hear, frolicking must have gone out of fashion.
I'll make lasagne later, with salad.
Its lovely and bright, a real sparkler of a day but cold, my inner thermostat has never been much cop.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
