Just looked at these 'patlocks', and really cant see the benefit of them over say a normal bike U-lock? But loads more expensive.

I'd rather fit a couple of sash jammers to each door (one top, one bottom).
To add to what others have said, all my recent French doors came with 1 key to suit both doors, this appears to be the norm.0
