Documents needed to sell a property?

We're selling our parents apartment. Our solicitors have told us that the buyers solicitors are asking us to provide and pay for copies of TPO's, and planning charges for all of the trees and other apartments on the property. Also for the Civil Aviation Charge for the area and a couple of other things. The landlords have provided all the TPO's which we've passed on but they are still insisting on us paying £55 each tree to get then from the council, plus £20 per planning charge, so the £££'s are adding up. They say we should have them in the Deeds pack which we obviously don't. Does everyone? Is this normal? I thought the buyer's paid for searches and alot of what they're asking for seems irrelevant. Can anyone advise?

Foxtrot Oscar should be your response IMO.0

I'm struggling to see why they need details of the TPOs anyway? It's likely the council will have that on their website.0

What is a Civil Aviation Charge ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

What is the advice from your solicitor on whether to pay these charges or not? You are paying them to give you good advice, so either you agree with it and take it, or you disagree and you should find a new solicitor.0

I agree, that's my argument with the solicitors for all the docs they are asking for. They want a full copy of the TPO's £55 a report. They said we should have them with the deeds and if we don't we should pay for them and provide them to the buyer's solicitors.0 -
