If you are not in the core group - who get notified by letter from the DWP - then you should register your interest and, when they send you an email saying the scheme is open, fill out the online form which their email takes you to.
This secondary scheme is discretionary and once they have allocated all their warm homes cash to applicants then any further registrations will be rejected, so as soon as you get the SCHEME IS OPEN email fill out the form.
I believe they open applications sometime in the next 3 weeks and if your application is successful pay the £140 in February.
Also, if you switch suppliers you have to comply with the new supplier's conditions and make another application - don't know if this applies to the core group, though.0 -
Warm Front was a Government scheme to give free boilers and home insulation, which ended in 2013.
Do you mean the Warm Home Discount Scheme?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

Mine has been credited to my account today, too.
It's the first day i hadn't checked, so thanks for that.
A very healthy balance of £140 currently as i also received the smallest of rebates, last week. My account is running efficiently.
Thanks E.on.Fred - Where's your get up and go?

Glad you've received the Warm Home Discount for 2016/17 poppasmurf. We started making payments for this year's scheme on Monday, 17 October 16. These payments are under the Broader Group. We're aiming to make all Broader Group payments by 31 May 17. We'll confirm once the payment has been made.
Core Group customers would have started to receive letters from the Department for Work and Pensions from Thursday, 13 October 16 explaining what will happen. It's important customers follow any instructions in these letters to make sure they receive their payment.
Hope this is of interest.
