    If UKPC can alter time stamps why can't a canny motorist? Just saying!

    Mine records about 5 hours

    Yes about right for a 32gb card recording at 1080 - need a good sized one for more than a day - though of course it doesn't necessarily record unless the car is on so 3 trips at different times could all fit on one card and even 2 separate clips would prove the car was not there all day

    And on some dashcams you can "write protect" the recording manually.

    Aside from dashcams , from what I understand there's also a way to get tracking data from smartphones.
    From the Plain Language Commission:
