I've tried through my MP three times. His name is SIR Allan Duncan (known locally as useless Duncan) who can't even bother his !!!! to attend the annual Battle of Britain commemoration ceremony within living memory.
He's a junior member of Mrs May's government so must at least have the opportunity to whisper in a few appropriate ears.
He just gives me the metaphorical brush off so what chance have the ordinary citizens got to fight this government sponsored scam.
I've also emailed Mrs May, no response of course not even a automated acknowledgement of receipt
There are a lot of "useless Duncan's" in Mrs May government.
Have you asked SIR Allan Duncan what is the point in his constituency with him around ? He will probably give you the brush off to that question as chances are ... he does not know himself
Mrs May must be asked the question
WHY DO YOU ALLOW THIS SCAM0 -
No question that knobbling DVLA access would be a major victory against the PPCs but that is going to take a very concerted and determined effort at a level much higher than the the DVLA themselves - Politicians and regulatory bodies perhaps?
We all have access to the DVLA and we all can get info regarding any vehicle by using this form
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/v888-request-by-an-individual-for-information-about-a-vehicle
and paying £2.50
I have over the years done so and been given details of owners of vehicles after capturing them on my "dashcam" doing unsafe and stupid things and then forwarding info to the police.
The police have informed me, possibly thru gritted teeth on 1 ocassion, that it lead to a prosecution (sorry english not my 1st language)
So NO NO NO dont stop access

The comment was directed at PPC's.
If you police the roads yourself why would you spend £2.50 to get the details when the police get it for free .... as you are reporting them with your dashcam evidence, leave it to the police and stop wasting your money0 -

And your plan for that is what/ how / when..0 -
