I read what you say and am prepared to try that, but whatever it happens to be, what should it be?. It's funny you should say that, because there has been times in recent weeks, that I have inadvertently pressed wrong buttons.

I used to get this on my Humax Freeview box and it was an indicator that the box needed a reboot which fixed it for a couple of months.

I seem to remember it involved pressing and holding the power button until the box rebooted, the display would say something like initialising.
