Any prepaid currency cards on the high street

I have left this till the last minute but wanted to get a prepaid currency card that I load up and can spend in the USA to avoid bank charges. The post office used to do one but are no longer doing them. Is there anywhere else that anyone knows of where you can just collect them on the high street? I don't have time to order one and wait for it to arrive now. I know I am stupid and should have done it earlier but have only just finished a degree that took up all of my time

Any prepaid card that you can get on the high street will probably end up costing you more than the bank fees involved in using your normal cards in US, so you may as well do that.
Unless you sign up for Revolut and pay for an emergency card to be sent immediately.Evolution, not revolution0 -

Yes - it was a midwifery degree that is vastly different to any other kind of degree out there in that you work a 37.5 hour week as well as doing all the theory - essays, dissertations etc. It doesn't finish until the 5th September and I had a 3 week extension on my last essay. Your comment came across pretty snide - if you didn't have anything helpful to offer me then why bother commenting to make someone feel bad?0 -

Thank you very much - I have done this and hopefully it will arrive in time0
