    That was just an example,

An example of the lying and cheating from the Brexit camp? Yes, of course, you are absolutely right.

No one is saying that are they?

"No cheating, just lies and deceit. What arrogance to suggest that being on the losing side of a referendum means you lack patriotism."

What and the remoaners didn't use all the tricks in the book and then some? Right from bringing Presidents in, scaremongering over 'emergency' budgets, etc etc, so don't try and make out your lot fought a good, clean campaign.

"Had 1 in 50 people voted the other way, do you really think Farage would not be calling for another referendum or moaning about the EU? Or the likes of Davis and Fox?"

You'll never know! Cause we won! :p

You may have won, but if you are honest you have no idea what you have actually won, because no one had a clue of how Brexit would pan out. It now looks like we are going to take the stupid route of putting immigration before trade, and ditching human rights laws to protect war criminals.

Personally I am well protected from the economic fall out of this, but I just hope all those blue collar voters who tipped the referendum don't have to rue the decision they made if the likes of Nissan pull out of the U.K.

The only one banging on about it is you. Most of the rest of us are just getting on with our lives. We don't know the impact of Brexit yet.

My daughter has protected herself by getting out of her job as a university researcher and moved to the UK civil service as EU funding for research is already drying up and the UK government does not value research except in STEM subjects. Luckily the rest of our family are in jobs which will not be affected and economically we are not dependent on the state which will definitely be reining its horn in as the economic affects and uncertainty affect our economy.

I suspect this will not be the case for everyone.

When my daughter told her neighbours (who she knew voted for Brexit) she was moving away to a different area of the country for a new job they were most upset as being a single professional she is a good neighbour. She has sold to an investor who are most unpopular in her road. Karma, she says!

Putting immigration before trade? What are you on about? I am not even sure you know do you..

The EU trading block consists of 500 million people, the world consists of the rest, think about it! The EU is a mature declining economic block, we should focus on new immature markets.

And ditching human rights laws to protect war criminals? Perhaps you'd like to reference those statements, you know, back them up with something of substance.

What cannot be denied by either side is the EU morphed into something which was completely different from than what was proposed from of its initial inception.

You shouldn't blame brexiters for this, you should blame the EU for getting away from what it was supposed to be, or at least how it was sold to the British people.

And as for not knowing what we've won, I'll take our democratic rights for self governance over any short term pain / transitional period any day thanks. :)

It seems we only get democratic rights in answering a simple in / out question for something that is highly complex, and thanks to a bunch of misinformation from all side most people did not have a clue at what we were actually voting for.

Now that some tough decisions have to be made, not only are the public not going to be consulted, it seems parliament is going to get little say either. Not everyone voted leave on the basis of immigration so the government do not have a mandate to prioritise that over everything else.

Why are the REMOANERS, banging on about the exit vote..

They lost. There was no cheating like in sports, so please get over it and back your country.

Just banging on about it is akin to a five year old behaving badly when they don't get their own way.

You wouldn't find any BREXITEER, moaning about losing would you? They would just accept the decision gracefully and back the EU.

    Cheers fj

I'm not sure what you mean by 'back Brexit'? the vote is over and Brexit voters won, what is there to 'back'? I voted remain, mainly because we have a fair amount of London property and we are selling a large part of that quite soon, and I thought Brexit might introduce risk to London property prices. Obviously there is no point in dwelling on the past, you have to look forward, not backwards. But it isn't anything about losing the vote (as you suggest) it's about potentially losing money, that said though, I am reasonably happy with how it has gone so far, but it is early days.

To back a positive approach to the UK becoming a sovereign nation with control over its own borders and politics and the abilty to make its own decisions, rather than continually moaning about how disastrous it will be when we exit the EU.
Bottom line, for the remoaners to have confidence in their own country and not constantly bleating that its so weak and pathetic it can't manage without being told what to do by the EU.
  • One things obvious from the Remoaners, their glass is half empty, and will remain so.All they're interested in is wallowing in doom and gloom. They can't accept that leaving the EU is the most positive step the UK could have made.

Happy days, and even happier days ahead.
