Thanks. DH tells me he is willing to make the supreme sacrifice and drink the remaining Guinness if I buy a 4pk of it to use for the cake. Didn't have the heart to tell him I was going to just buy a single one at local Bargain Booze.:rotfl:

    I suppose I can stretch the budget to a 4pk. ;)

  • I cooked some vegetables on Tuesday to make a veggie lasagne and didn't get around to doing it. the veggies have been in the fridge ever since then . . . do you think it would still be ok to use them today?

Do they look and smell ok? No mould? If so, taste one and if that tastes fine, I would use them, but if in doubt, chuck it out!
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!
  • If you have a microwave I would whack them in there to kill anything, but def use. I hate wasting food so my first choice would be to use them up.
  • Well, the lasagne is in the oven!! The veggies didn't appear to have mould on them and smelt ok (although that may have been masked by the amount of garlic I cooked with it)!!!

Fingers crossed that we are not all ill later!!
