Thanks. DH tells me he is willing to make the supreme sacrifice and drink the remaining Guinness if I buy a 4pk of it to use for the cake. Didn't have the heart to tell him I was going to just buy a single one at local Bargain Booze.:rotfl:
I suppose I can stretch the budget to a 4pk.

I cooked some vegetables on Tuesday to make a veggie lasagne and didn't get around to doing it. the veggies have been in the fridge ever since then . . . do you think it would still be ok to use them today?

Do they look and smell ok? No mould? If so, taste one and if that tastes fine, I would use them, but if in doubt, chuck it out!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

If you have a microwave I would whack them in there to kill anything, but def use. I hate wasting food so my first choice would be to use them up.0

Well, the lasagne is in the oven!! The veggies didn't appear to have mould on them and smelt ok (although that may have been masked by the amount of garlic I cooked with it)!!!
Fingers crossed that we are not all ill later!!
