I had a serious flood from the bathroom which brought down the kitchen ceiling.
The insurace company sent a firm out to do all the repairs. As the water burst was over my gas boiler I requested they send a gas firm to chech for water damage. This was done in May,2007 at the end of August 2007 the gas boilet weny haywire - i rang the gas firm involved and they said the boiler was fine when they checked it.
I was told i should have been given an all clear inspection sheet, but I did not get anything in writing - also the boiler is only 3 years old but has no identifiaction plate, or make which i believe is illigal,
The firm who installed the boiler say they only keep records for 2 years I feel i have been stiched up here Corgi have been no help
Any suggestions as to who to complain too
Thanks

Hi
Post a photo? Once the make/model is known then you can start to ask questions as to it's reliability and any known problems that particular model has.

Hi Blue....you could google images (gas boilers) and hope to see an identical one. Then copy and paste to here. Or mention the name and model.0

thanks for reply
I am looking into trying to get the picture on here have got it on my computer but still need to get it to this site
It seems incredible but there is NO make on the boiler and no plate with a model id or serial number the instruction book also has no make, brand or model in it just typed out pages from the firm that sold it and fitted it,
I have had 2 plumbers come and try to identyfy it !
The firm who installed it say they do not keep records over two years - the boiler is three years old
They will charge £90. call out to attend the boiler - this is very annoying
Thanks again
