    Hello all,

Am so sorry to read that Ozzie has now crossed the rainbow bridge FBO our animals are so precious to us aren't they, loads of Tilly & Rosie hugs as instructed x

Later posting today as have been busy over at Mum's bungalow, we cleared her double bed out ready for the hospital one to be delivered, a nice man from the HA came round and fixed grab rails in the loo and I hoovered & cleaned all through so will be ready for her to come home.
She had a good nights sleep at DB's and enjoyed boiled egg & soldiers for breakfast which she has been craving like mad :) When we left last night she was all snuggled in bed, with a huge smile on her face, surrounded by her family, perfick.
When I was sorting through the drawers on her divan I found a pile of linen which she said could be sorted for the charity shop, right at the bottom was a child's pinny with a duck embroidered on it and I realised it was the one I used to wear all those years ago when I "helped" with her baking. Must admit had a tear at that point and of course, with her permission, I'll be keeping that :A

Hope all are well, especially your Gran Speky take care all x

So sorry to hear about Oz.
I didn't have time to post this morning as I was up to my neck in baking for a Macmillan sale. My L&M was most unwell last night so I didn't get much sleep. He has spoken to our HR person again today and told them that changes are being made in his absence, so the brown stuff has hit the fan over that.
I've also stuck my oar in and told them that whilst he may be feeling better as the medication is kicking in I see ne reason why he should need to be medicated because some people can't do their job properly!
    Hugs Hester

    Afternoon all.

FBO - so sorry to read about Oz. Animals do get right into our hearts. Try to think of the pleasure you all shared whilst he was your companion. I still think about my only pet even though she's been dead for about 35 years.

The trip to Glasgow was beset by heavy torrential rain showers with intermittent patches of bright sunshine and rainbows. Once I arrived at Mum's I found she'd put out piles of 'stuff' for the recycling centre so we carted it all downstairs, piled it into the car and off I went again. Eventually I was given a cup of tea and a piece of home made cake for my troubles.

I've changed her email password, on all devices too, so hopefully everything is safe from the BT/Yahoo hackers.

    Feet up!
  • Hello all I've been reading but had nothing to post.
Hugs to those who have sadly lost animal companies. We have had 2 dogs who we had to put down . One we had from a pup and the last we inherited. My son especially was distraught.

Daughter is doing well at school for her. Her attachment disorder causes problems such as no sense of time passing , inappropriate friendships. Last night she came home to introduce her boyfriend to me and he seems ok and able to ground her when needed. She even volunteered to show people round school on an Open Evening on Wednesday.

Seen diabetic nurse and she's advised me on how to tweak my insulin dependent on what carbs I'm having. Doctors want me to be investigated for sleep disorders. Had two lovely lunches out this week with friends.

Husband seems quite positive about looking for another job. He's had a few interviews with agencies for both full and part time work. Only problem is we are unable to go away at October half term as his holidays go from September one year to October the next.!

Tea cooking away in slowcooker. Chilli and nachos.

Hugs to those who want/need them.

    Afternoon all,

Happily ensconsed in DS1' favourite chair, was nice to sit and crochet (had a little nap too) instead of driving for 3 hours, OH doesnt do motorways anymore.

Furry....so sorry to hear about OZ, we are never ready, but time will ease the pain somewhat.

Hoping to pick some blackberries while here, weather not great today, hopefully it will improve tomorrow, although DGD2 has a camogie match so that will take up our morning. We dont leave for home until early evening Sunday so maybe that will be a better idea.

Lainey..how lovely to find your bib from when you were a child.

    Csarina....thinking of you for Sunday.

    Dumpling....you are doing so well.

    Ruby.....congratulations to your DD.

Been watching some harrowing scenes from Syria....when will humanity ever learn??

    Enjoy your weekend

    Marie.
