Extra insurance?

I'm getting very confused (not hard!) with my Florida car hire.

I've hired from Alamo.com (not Brits or .co.uk) via auto Europe and can't work out if I need excess insurance or not.
I've taken it before for Europe, for some reason it was clearer to me then.

The agreement includes......

Sales tax
Airport surcharge
3rd party liability insurance
Basic roadside assistance
CDW and theft protection (zero excess)
Wheels, glass, tyres roof and undercarriage insurance

We've got a good World travel insurance policy too.

Is that enough?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Is the third party insurance unlimited? In the US sometimes third party insurance is limited eg to $50k or so which isn't enough if you seriously injure someone, so check the limit. If it's not unlimited or at least very high (in the millions) you might need what's known as SLI (supplementary liability insurance).

Thanks so much for explaining it in simple terms! Now I know what to check for. I'll look at the full terms etc tomo, too late now for brain to compute!

    Cheers :T
