Thomson Money Grrrrrrrr!

Ordered US Dollars on line from Thomson Money (one of the money saving expert listed companies) on Monday 26/9 for collection on Thursday 29/9.
Went in to Thomson shop to collect currency at 10am to be told that the courier would not arrive until midday so could not collect my order. The shop staff advised me that they had US Dollars in the safe, but could not let me have any as they were not my order.
So the courier is bringing special numbered notes just for me? I doubt it.
I now have to wait until after 1pm to do another 30 mile round trip plus parking charges to collect my specific money.
Not very good service overall and no help from shop staff. Won't be using Thomson Money again. Might as well use a home delivery service in future as it's cheaper than my incidental costs.

If you had your order given away you would not be happy and whilst it is not great service you have had at least someone else is not being messed about to.0

It might also be down to the pre-ordered currency being at a special online rate and is sealed and packaged for you.
I would think most currency exchanges have USD$ in stock but when used would be at the prevailing rate that the store/exchanges is using at that time.
Assuming that they did not say when the pick up time could be, sounds just unfortunate that the courier was held up.0
