From summer 2017 apparently.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

I've just flown this route twice (both directions) and they literally just manage to serve the drinks and packets of snacks. Had we not had to circle Manchester on the way back some people wouldn't have been served
To be honest I don't really see the need to serve anything on routes this short.0 -

I remember being almost force fed a full breakfast on a flight from Glasgow to Belfast.0 -
I won't miss the food - such as it was. It was was always nice to start a holiday with a g&t or two:)
Don't normally bother on short flights but if we are going to be eating, we usually buy a boots meal deal or similar.
I suppose it's just signifies the downgrading of the service, which in my opinion was very average anyway.0 -

That sounds very fair.

Can I cancel/ claim the 1000 avios if I have booked the flights with Avios.com rather than ba avios?
i have an outbound flight booked with avios, and the return flight booked with ba.0 -
Hi,
I have just flown from LHR to Paris Orly - flight was just over 1 hour - I got the smallest coffee ever, as well as a packet of nuts ... not worth it.
If they start charging I wouldn't bother.

I can't see why not, because they're using Avios to compensate people who paid with cash and not just rewards, so I can't see how it matters how you paid for it.. They'll presumably credit the Avios to your BA.com account and you can either choose them to pay for food on the flight or (as I intend to) use them for something better!Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

The very short hops, like Manchester or London to any airport less than two hours away it's hardly worth the trouble of serving even a coffee.
Over a couple of hours, maybe a coffee would be appreciated. Not the horrible snacks, though.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
