School charging interest on purchases?

Unfortunately! From last few years, schools are focusing on their income instead of better education!0

Shouldn't happen really. Schools should charge just what it costs to deliver the service and costs or trips etc are generally calculated on a "break-even" basis. In fact, the school knows that a certain number of parent will never pay up and so basically subsidises trips out of its own fund to some extent. There's really no additional cost for admin as all school have an office staff or business manager whose job it is to look after those things anyway.0
