Can anyone recommend a dual sim mobile that doesn't cost too much and works well? I want to be able to receive and make calls on either number and specify which sim card to use for data? Thanks

Ok thank looking at the Moto g 2nd gen or g4 ( but only in white?). Also noticed medion one at carphone warehouse, looks ok.

The g4 only appears to be white if you want dual sim plus it's rather big. Thinking of the Moto g 2nd gen if I can find a good price ?

A friend has a Samsung J5 dual SIM. One slot is 2G only though. It receives calls on either number, you pick which one to use for calls and texts. A few phones will give 3G on both SIM slots.

You will need a note of which SIM is cheaper to use, in the EU it's often cheaper to make calls "anywhere" using the roaming SIM. Beware of some networks charging for incoming calls while roaming.

I broke my E700(being repaired), got two replacements whilst waiting... not good enough!

I would double check that before you buy as I've got a dual sim x play & when it went faulty, Motorola would not repair it under warranty as that model was not sold in the UK, they advised me they don't sell any dual sim models in the UK, mine was purchased via Pixamania, I personally think JL are mistaking the sd card slot as a sim slot.

John Lewis sell the non dual version in black

The Dual version are all white, Amazon sells them as well

Both have Micro Sd card slots, no mistake
