  • Morning all :)

Well we are managing, just! We had plans to go out last night anyway so it was pretty helpful to have a babysitter right here!

I'll be back to regular positing next week I promise - I'm missing all the banter and support on here. Life just seems to be galloping at a thousand paces at present xx

That's erm... interesting about your unexpected house guest! Glad it was handy for the babysitter though!

    Morning All :)

Apologies for being a useless diarist of late. I'm back now :)

I am pleased to report we are now in the 20s :j the exact balance as at today's date is £129,998.19. Will update signature in a minute.

March has been waaaaaay spendier than I anticipated. However, it was all necessary spending and I need to remind myself that this is a marathon, not a sprint!

Next target is £125,000 by the end of June. We will then have hit our 10% OP allowance for the year, and it will then be the big push to get £25k in savings so, on an offset basis, we are into five figures by 2018. Emminently doable if our efforts in January and February are anything to go by.

Onto today :). Meals have been planned up to the end of the week, and it will be a low spend day (milk, butter and pork pies). More work for DH to be done (annual company accounts) and may see if I can locate some bits to ebay.

    Have marvellous days all xx
