We took the children to the big toy shop last year to spend birthday money (birthdays are two weeks apart). They were so overwhelmed! Rain forecast all day here today too but garden not suitable for playing in as have scaffolding up and bits of diggers and tools etc. Hoping to visit our local NT property next weekend to catch the end of an event they are running.
Hope you have a relaxing Sunday.Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0 -

Loads achieved today and it's still only the morning (just
)
Heaps of chores and admin dealt with, as well as some work. Listed another item on ebay, sold two more and packaged up what sold yesterday ready to take to the post office later. My iPad makes a "kerching" noise when someone pays for an item, I am stupidly happy with that
So my list for the week:
Achieve 4 NSDs - today won't be as I have ebay bits to post
Complete piece of consultancy work - DONE
List 4 things on eBay - DONE
Write to mortgage provider again - DONE
Send a letter to very asking them to close my account - DONE
Can I take the rest of the week off please

Personally I wouldn't count that as you're not "spending" (in the usual sense), you're just using the money paid to you for postage to do the actual posting.0 -

Good point, thank you!
Another £29.55 in sales whilst I was on the school run. I think, for me, listing things at reasonable buy it now prices really is the way to go. That's around £68 made this weekend from good quality kids clothing, sold at reasonable prices. Very happy with that :money:MFW
