Virgin Mobile retention deal

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently on Virgin Mobiles VIP Plus deal for £22.50 a month, which is unlimited for calls, text and 3G data, plus free calls to 08 numbers.

I'd like to know if Virgin Mobile are likely to offer me a better deal, I've seen other deals they are offer which seen to have the same allowances like VIP SIM Only for £20.00 and the VIP tariff which is £15 for the same allowances but with 5GB.

I've been looking around for a new deal, I've seen Life Mobile's SIM only deal for £13.95 which has unlimted text and calls with 6GB of data. I'm not so worried about having 4G on my phone as I don't necessarily see the advantage based on my usage, which is mainly Whatsapp, youtube and the various apps I use like Skysports, Guardian, Autotrader etc.

Life Mobile also uses the EE network like Virgin Mobile, I was wondering if Life Mobile is a reliable network in terms of connectivity. I'd like to know if there are any other deals that are on offer at the moment.

Also what do people think of the BLU Life Mark - 4G SIM-Free Smartphone?

If you signed up to virgin mobile online, there are a range of tariffs you may switch to, which have pretty good offers in the change tariff section.

I think they only contain 3G data allowances though. You'd have to be an old customer though.
