That's why I hardly ever enter holiday competitions.
They are nearly always for 2 adults + 2 children under 12. When you read the terms they usually state one family room is available.

My kids are 16, 12 and 9 so it's not even as though I could squeeze the extra child into the room. So I figure it would mean booking an extra room as well as an extra flight.... which could work out costly.
I tend just to steer clear of holiday comps... I tell myself I will enter the ones for 2 people once my kids have all left home!! :rotfl:

I enter them most times, & I'd still enter if I had more than 2 kids as whatever extra I have to pay it would still be cheaper than having to pay for the whole family. The only holz I don't usually go for are in this country.
