Dual fuel-Is it worth paying the exit fee for latest energy club deal?

I switched energy supplier 3 December 2015 to join British Gas under the previous energy club deal.
I have heard about the latest energy club latest deal though that would mean paying a £50 exit fee to leave current deal.
Is it worth signing up? I am trusting there might be some MSE forum experts that can advise me.
* Please note I am thinking for the long-term here over many years would I be better off doing this because the deals are more likely to come around this time of year.

To advise you we would need to know:
1. the prices of your current deal i.e. gas and electricity price per kWh and daily standing charge
2. Your annual consumption in kWh
3. The prices of the new tariff(as in 1)
BG do not charge an exit fee if switching between BG tariffs.0 -
Hi,
its a bg homeenergy connect to Jan 18. £52 a month I believe. I've never lived at this property so don't know what my annual comsumption would be.0 -

If you join the Cheap energy club they will estimate how much you will save!
As a guide in my area your tariff is 48% more expensive for gas(3.77p/kWh against 2.55p/kWh) 40% more expensive for electricity(12.60p/kWh against 9.02pkWh) and 19% more expensive for the Daily Standing Charge for each fuel(26.01p against 21.81p)
The probability is that the Collective tariff will be hundreds of pounds cheaper - depending on your consumption - and you won't have to pay the early exit charge of £80(£40 per fuel)0 -

Interesting
Just wondering why you created an AE account to respond?
No worries, best of luck!0 -
If you are already with BG there is no exit fee to join the latest collective fix. I've just switched from Dec 16 to October 17 and I'm saving £100 a year. I can't find the detail any more as my switch is in progress, but log in and check the fine print.0
