Sky Q Hub - new customer

I've just signed up for Sky fibre & talk & we should be switched over early October.

I guess they'll send out the Sky Hub as standard but i want the Sky Q Hub.

I tried their live chat but that is a horrendous service. When they FINALLY are 'available' by the time you're half way through selecting the next lot of options to speak to them, they're suddenly 'busy' again.

So i phoned them yesterday & was told some of their departments are closed from 9pm...

...so i call back tonight & get told i'll be dealt with in about 15 mins. 32 mins later i'm putting the phone down as that's long enough without getting anyone on the other end.



How do i upgrade to this Sky Q Hub thing & more importantly what does it cost?

I'd prefer to have them send it out as standard, even if i have to pay a bit extra (depending what that bit is) rather than send the normal router out only to then send another (Q Hub) out.

I transferred my son from BT to SKY fibre in August, I did it online and there was an option in the ordering process to upgrade to the SKY Q hub for £20.

I was looking for it but saw nothing

Ahh damnit!! I saw that section & skimmed over it the same way I do with car insurance because as I started reading it it was saying to me - do you want to give us even more money. My answer was no.
