If like me you are fed up with receiving nuisance calls, even though you are signed up with TPS. Please help to get them stopped by signing the above petition.

I have a call blocker £25 off ebay. worth its weight in gold.
The calls stopped almost instantly with just the odd number to block.
When i first installed it the call log was long, now its mostly empty.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I was a bit confused on the title of this petition - 'help call time' could be 'reduce the time you spend on each nuisance call'. You have to read quite a lot of their site before you realise it means 'put an end to nuisance calls' and involves putting pressure on the government. Since most of the calls originate from overseas and even if the government make nuisance calls illegal it won't make any difference whatsoever.
I have not signed this vaguely worded petition. You can do better than this, Which.0 -

I would have thought it should be possible to ensure that callerids are both mandatory (maybe with a non-display option for some) and genuine and force telecos to block calerids with more that some low threshold of complaints but maybe it isn't. Putting the responsibility on the teleco should be the answer but as that hasn't happened and almost certainly won't a call blocking phone is the way forward. I don't get any now since getting one. So far my mobile has been spam and nuisance call free.
Some while back I complained to my MP and suggested that the telecos should be made responsible. He didn't really answer that but did say he was annoyed by them himself and that it was a very regular complaint to him.0 -
Waste of time it will never actually alter what goes on here and calls to people marketing various products is here to stay, A lot of people all say I am on the TPS so you cannot call or text me but do not realise that all the stuff they do online mainly gives permission to accept this and things we also in everyday life like insurance, bank accounts and so on give the Companies permission to have marketing sent to you.
If you do not wish to receive anything then simply do not sign up to anything ever again as it is always in the small print in relation to using or selling your personal details.0
