I was scammed on Gumtree 😞 (remove if needed)

I'm so sorry but yesterday I paid for a gift card.off Gumtree a toys r us one for my kids for Christmas.... I had the man's address

Facebook
Bank details
I sent £200
We spoke on the phone and today I received... A fake card in the post for the health lottery instead of a toys r us gift and I have been crying all morning I'm so upset and so hurt and heartbroken I have called the police and bank and there isn't much they can do

Please be aware this Christmas time.. This is all I had saved up and he's stole it away from me x

I feel sick and horrible this vile person x
Please Romove if needed I just thought people need to know .. Will try and win stuff to make it up to my kids

They usually go for a bank transfer (sometimes a cleared cheque) and will not take paypal, credit or debit cards to avoid "refunds/reclaims"

I am so very sorry to hear this stacey2kids this is absolutely disgusting.
I really feel for you, i really hope this can be sorted out, how anyone can do this is beyond me, what a vile nasty person, i really hope he gets what he deserves, i feel really upset for you.
