Noddle - Where's the Catch?

It gives them an opportunity to show you lists of credit products you might be eligible for, then the credit companies pay them for referrals. MSE does the same - they're not a charity either.
Secondly, once you've signed up for the free stuff they start flogging the paid stuff. They do an "Improve" service, where they tell you how you can improve your credit score (see also: this forum). There's also the paranoia market, so they'll sell you "Alerts" where they tell you if any new accounts open.
Long story short, if you log in once every 30 days, look at your report, then leave there will be no charge, no catch. But they're rather hoping you'll hang around and start obsessing over getting that magical 5/5.0 -

As with Clearscore, Creditmatcher and MSE Credit Club the report you get from Noddle is old news, past history because it's not updated in real time. Usually it's done on a particular date during the month and you get your next updated report a month later. So there's the catch.
What they are really is a profit-making vehicle to sell you credit and get commission if your application is successful.0
