    I just had a feeling this might be going this way. OP, if you drip information you will get lousy advice and that will be your own fault. You walked out without working your notice. You could owe money for many reasons, and it's a guessing game as to why. Until you ask the employer, which I can perhaps now understand why you are not keen to do so, you won't know why you appear to owe money. But you cannot ignore this because they may very well take you to court, and fair enough that they should if you walked out without notice and owning them money.

    I did give in my notice but I just didn't work the weeks notice, I went in and gave them the my resignation in writing. And from there my team leader said I don't have to be in work now and that I may go home.

    As always in these situations if the FULL information is not provided it is very hard to judge and give correct advice.

    Well if so you are entitled to be paid for that week.

    However I totally echo the comments about asking for advice but not giving the full story which is why I rather lost patience with this thread last night.

    Finally.....

    Ask the employer for a written explanation as to why they think you owe them money.

    Check their calculations carefully.

    By all means ask for advice about any points you do not understand but don't expect other people to do the work for you.

    If you own them money then promptly agree with them how it will be repaid.

    Move on.

    And with that I am out!

    I read the email they said me it says;

    I note that the date you chose to terminate your employment does not fulfil the requirements of your contractual notice period. This is a breach of the terms and conditions of your employment and may result in non-payment of any accrued but unpaid commissions.

    If any monies are Your P45 will be sent out to the above address shortly after this final payment has been made.
