Stream sky go to tv from ipad?

Does anyone know if its possible to stream sky go from my ipad to tv?

No, whilst iPads can stream to TVs, via, for example, an Apple TV, Sky has deliberately blocked this use. They want you to have a Sky or NowTV box under your TV.

Being able to stream Go as suggested would also mean that a subscriber could allow a couple of relatives to use their Go entitlement and so get free Sky in their own homes.

You can't stream from any tablet far as I know - I've tried it with a couple of Android ones as well. Doesn't work with a cable either. However, I know you can connect a laptop via an HDMI cable to a TV and stream Sky Go no problems.

It used to work on Android boxes as they ran the tablet version of Sky Go but they blocked that too last year. Only way to get it on another TV is Sky Go extra (£5 extra per month) and a games console - PS3, PS4, XBOX360 or XBOXone.
