What happens if you open the Edge browser then click on Open in Internet Explorer - towards the bottom of the menu you get when clicking ... on the top right?
If you do get IE you can just pin the icon you get to the taskbar.
Alternately complain to your system administrator - I doubt that they intended everybody to get Edge only.0 -
When Win 10 updates as it did last week for me it always defaults to the Edge browser which I don't like, prefering FF.
Can't remember immediately how to get the default FF but find it in the end.
Can't remember now so can't post details.
But maybe the OP's problem has to do with the default browser thingy.It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -

Click the notification box next to the time in the bottom right hand corner, then All Settings>System>Default Apps>Web BrowserScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
