the latest up date took 3hrs and has removed the old IE browser and all its file when I try to redown load it tells me its not compatable with windows 10. can anybody help.
I do it just for fun and whatever I win is a bonus

Try right-click on Start button and hit Run. Then type iexplore and hit OK or Enter - presto IE11 opens (if your updated W10 is similar to mine).
Or click on the Search Windows button and start typing Internet Explorer ...
A shortcut resides in C:\Users\{Yourusername}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories next to a shortcut for the old Notepad App (again if your W10 is like mine) but if not, the actual exe file sits in surprise surprise "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Have you searched your system using the search bar and typed in IE ?

Gives you Programs ... Control Panel
(or right click on start and select control panel)
On the left select Turn Windows Features on or off

I found "Turn Windows Features on or off" when I selected Programs and Features from the Control Panel. If its not there sounds like a version controlled by an IT Manager who has removed the option!0
