I'm afraid I have been out spending money and in large sums. Impromptu team lunch for someone's birthday today (£6), and then the floodgates had opened so I moved all of tomorrow's spends to today.

    So... as well as lunch:
-work Christmas do for OH and I - £113 :eek::eek:
-secret santa care package shopping - £7 (pens, chocolate)
    -£land odds and sods - £2
    -reduced bargains at Mr W - 39p
    -totally unnecessary chocolate from Mr W - £1.50 :o

I need to post my parcels to people tomorrow but I have got the money out and put it aside so I'm counting it as today's spends.

So... I should now have a no spend weekend (it rhymes, I like it.... )

£113 for a works Christmas do?????? Ye gods!!! I sincerely hope it will be the do to end all dos, should be, at that price!

Edited to add....you truly deserve that chocolate. Chocolate is never unnecessary. Especially when you've just spent £113 on the Christmas knees-up.

It had better be good - it's a fancy black tie, sit down 3 course meal affair. Of course there are associated costs - like having to have a ballgown dry cleaned!

I'm off for some therapeutic chocolate now...
