Well I'll call it a low spend day, as the total cost of the top up shop (incl steak) and train ticket aren't much more than £20....

To be honest I'm quite pleased with my NSD progress so far and I got my 4 in a row, so I'm not getting too worked up about it. AND I get to have an unexpected treat tomorrow
That's fine too.Whatever you're happy with.
You're doing really well,it's true!
Ok,tell,tell.What's tomorrow's treat?0 -
The steak... I'm exercising my self-control and not eating it tonight! :AHouse fund: ~£5000 / £10,000

marmiterulesok - well done! That is excellent.
Friday - 47.50
Saturday - 39.15
October is going to be filled with NSD's for me as I have spent the majority of my money already.
I am trying to not feel so bad about it as the spends on Friday include Christmas gift for my BFF's daughter & 15.00 for a birthday present for my mum that she really wanted.
Car valet was 20.00 on Friday also & mum bought lunch as I covered that the week before.
Saturday I spent 30.00 on dinner, 6.00 on getting my eyebrows threaded & 3.15 on posting a housewarming card to Canada.
I have some money if I need it but I would rather not spend because that is part of my Christmas budget which I need!
So today is a definite NSD for me.

It's NSDs left, right, and centre here!
I won't be able to report until late this evening as I'm watching an item for OH's Christmas present on 3bay that ends tonight. Absolutely no excuse for any other spends today.House fund: ~£5000 / £10,000

Thank you! With the internet now,it's so easy to declare an nsd, only to buy a sneaky something five minutes later and have the day ruined.I err on the side of caution now.
Have you ever thought about having a weekly budget?I know how frustrating it is when most of your money has gone and we're not even half way through the month.
I mean,my grocery budget is weekly, but that includes cat food and toiletries and even the odd coffee in town.I hope that you had a nice meal with your mum.0 -
Erm I do have one

Just clearly not doing so well sticking to it!
It's this time of year, I am starting my Christmas shopping in January next year :money:
