Boiler and radiators not working how much should I compensate my tenants?

    And, of course, wine is not much good to teetotallers!

    There is some serious over thinking here. A gesture will, I am sure, be appreciated. So a card with either a voucher or some wine (which they can always take to dinner parties if they don't drink it themselves) is about the right size of gesture.
  • I was living in a student house when the oven broke and we had problems with hot water resulting in pretty patchy hot water for a while.

    This was around sept time and continued for a month or so, just before christmas the landlords delivered a gift voucher each for sainsburys (£50) so we could use it for whatever we wanted.

    It wasnt expected and it was really appreciated and kept the relationship nice going forward
