It's not just if it's in the front, Dave. Any structure with a platform higher than 30cm off the ground needs PP these days. I bet 99% don't have it of course. And I bet the councils are quite happy about that - imagine the pointless workload!0

It also applies to play-houses in front gardens too, so there have been cases of toddler evictions:
