  • Morning all, another bit from me! £368.56 making my totals now
    £5942.00/£7000 =84.88% # 74

I don't think I'm going to manage to get to my goal for Christmas, but I'm not going to stress about it, we had some unexpected expenses in the summer which totalled £1200 so have been paying that off alongside this target, so I suppose that balances out somewhat?
Thanks Muppets for all you have done this year, and a Merry Christmas to all. :xmastree::xmassign:
    LBM 1.1.16 = £27096.59 - now £17,020.38

Can you explain a little more about how this works please?

Morning Barbara, All you do is set yourself a target of how much debt you would like to pay off by Christmas 2017. You then come and post your payments here, you can post every payment like some members or monthly like others. Each month I update the list on page 1 with all the payments the members have made.

The DFBX2017 thread will be set up next weekend. A link to the new thread will be posted in this thread.

You have done an amazing job this year clearing your debts, while paying those expenses. Next year will be such a nicer target figure for you. :xmastree::xmassign: Merry Christmas to you too. xx

MrsShazbat is you feel that you can't clear all your debt in the year, then you can set yourself a target figure that you would like to clear. There are a few people here that have been here for a few years and will be here for a few more. Would be lovely to see you on next years challenge. xx

Thanks muppets. I guess it's just the way the world works sometimes. I'll still be able to monitor the loan coming down and what-have-you. 0%-ing is helping in the longer run because it's easing things elsewhere and we have to be realistic.

Count me in for next year please :T

This is just a small proportion of my debt! I've still another £19,000 to pay off so I'll be back for the 2017 challenge :)
