Does watching a shopping /craft channel as it is being broadcast require a license?

If it's QVC or one of the other broadcast services, then yes.

If they are clips connected to products on their websites then no.

If you watch any television as it is being broadcast you need a license.

Its not specific about shopping channels but I thought they would probably be included, my friend thought not.

It is a craft channel which sells. Its not a problem, they have a youtube channel too where you can watch it after the broadcast has finished.
I thought it would need a license but my friend thought not.
