Do you think you contradicted yourself at all? Either in what you said at the tribunal or between what you said on your PIP form and you answers at the tribunal? That might have made them doubt you. Easily done when stressed if you slightly misinterpreted what they were asking.

Totally contradicted, i had a rep interview and told him the story but he asked me questions that i could not understand or give a real answer to, almost all his questions were like this, wanting a solid answer and he specifically told me "SOMETIMES" will not do, he needed a answer.
When i saw him at tribunal he honestly told me he had not made anything about back pain at all to appeal on - when that is the basis of the whole appeal, he told me he was appealing on mental health issues only, so i said not a chance and i told my story straight and true to that tribunal and said "sometimes" a lot. For example:

    Rep would ask me:
How many days in the last 90 has this pain occured?

    I would answer:
Well, in a typical 90 days it can be from every day to maybe once every 2 weeks, there is no solid answer.

Though he kept repeating he needed a solid answer - then at the tribunal there was no questions like this at all, so i told them like it was, it all depends on the situation.

Totally contradictory, i believe taking a rep was a big mistake to be honest.

Rep made no appeal on back pain, but i won on back pain issue, the doctor asked me sane, normal questions, maybe that is what they mean then, if they look at the form and my own version they are totally different.
    Owed out = lots.

I think that makes sense. I wouldn't worry about the comment - I don't think they were being offensive. You won the tribunal, that's what's important.

I know how difficult it is to answer those types of questions with variable conditions. I'd be exactly the same as you. If someone wants a precise answer when there isn't one I'd just get frustrated if they kept pushing me to give one. It's good that tribunal allowed you to explain it in your own way.

I would be a little worried and hope the DWP do not decide to appeal on a point of Law on the basis they did not find you credible, yet upheld your appeal. This appears a little contradictory. The DWP should make their mind up within 28 days of them receiving the award notice. The first step they will take is asking for a statement of reasons to look deeper at the judgement ( needs to be asked for within a month of receiving judgement order ) and then they have a further month to decide if they are going to appeal on a point of law.
