I am going to give myself a weekly budget of £10 on personal spends. I have never tried this before as I tend to just give my money to the kids when they want it (within reason) but in my latest attempt to sort myself out I am going to try and budget a little better.

So put me down for a tenner PAP

Bypassed the first temptation. Managed to avoid going to the paper shop to get a paper, so nothing spent so far!

  • i am so pleased at todays buying :j i wont list it all as i brought so much but i spent £44.59 on 43 items in ranjanis... everything from smellies (for xmas) to modals (for a birthday) to craft items (for birthdays/xmas') nad i also brought 32 bags of crisps for £1 for dinners :T we then went to asda and i brought 3 more xmas gifts a new nightdress, 6 ladies briefs, a duvet set, pillow cases, two stationary items, a reduced sandwich and 2 bottles of coke for £16.31 :T so basically i spent £60.00 (as i have put all my 1ps/2ps/5ps in my savings jars) all or which were from my xmas savings and all budgeted (except for some of the things brought in asda :o)

i am now offically finished for xmas :j :j :j :j all there is to buy is vouchers, celophane to wrap my hampers, a few more 'cherry' items for my best friend and personailsed xmas cards and i still have over £80 in savings to cover all those :j woo hooo onto xmas 2008 now

nsd from my weekly 'pot' money although technically i should have used that to pay for the sandwich but i only went out with my xmas pot money so a NSD :T :T :T

Wow i'm impressed pap, well done for being so organised :T
  • Well, I'm in again this week. I spent £4.18 last week, so I must be getting better, if I'm playing the game right.

Pap you've done well today, Your short break at home in blackpool must have done you some good. I have to ask looking at your signature, why are you not entitled to an opinion? I've seen your opinions often and they all seem to have been pretty good to me.

Anyway I'll go for £10 again this week. Nothing spent today.
