what have/will you spend sunday 16th sept ~ moozies weekly challange

Good afternoon lovely DFWs

Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.

Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

  • morning pap and all who follow.....

budget for personal spends is £10 again. dont really want to spend any of it though lol. not going out this week and am trying to stop buying stuff because of my simple life challenge.

if i do have to spend any i guess it will be in the craft shop towards stuff for all the cards i am making atm. mind you, saying that, cardmaking stuff might seem expensive, but i can make a hellava lot of cards with £10 worth of stuff!

might get the enthusiasm to venture to the farm shop later to pick up fruit and veg for the week.....maybe! lol if i do will update with spends later.

I spent £1.09 on a birthday card out of my £5.00 budget. The money left over is going in the mortgage pig.

I am going to give myself a weekly budget of £10 on personal spends. I have never tried this before as I tend to just give my money to the kids when they want it (within reason) but in my latest attempt to sort myself out I am going to try and budget a little better.

So put me down for a tenner PAP

  • Well I think since last payday I've had 3 red weeks out of 4 (or is it 2 out of 3.. not good anyway!):o But hey, it's been a learning curve - I've kept track of absolutely everything I've spent this month so have a much better idea for budgeting next month.

Anyway, red again this week, budget was £15 and spent £21 - too much laziness in buying lunches instead of making them (as my underspent grocery budget testifies!)

I'm on holiday this week and won't be on to update for most of the week so I'm gonna give this one a miss - I don't get paid till Friday though so I can only spend what I have! Have a good week everyone x

    I almost made it.

Spent £2.20 on a sandwich that I didnt need and £18.00 on chinese (since when did takeaway get so expensive!) so total spend of £20.20.

Put me down for £20.00 again this week - no more takeaways x

I think I spent £17 on my night out and £40 on a coat so yeah, I went over but not too worried as the coat was sensible.

    Next week, £15
