Disgraceful Bank chief must quit

So said Lord Lawson, he called for Mark Carney to stand down as Governor of the Bank of England last night over his 'disgraceful' conduct over BREXIT.
And I quite agree, not only was it disgraceful, it was all lies. If it wasn't lies would you want someone who should know what he was talking about, look after your finances, as he quite plainly got it so wrong. I certainly wouldn't. I doubt he even has qualifications to be an IFA!
No wonder the Canadians were glad to see him go.
Cheers everyone fj

To be fair Mark Carney does not use a crystal ball so telling the outcome of things is nye on impossible, Another dribbling post whereby you find fault over the UK leaving the EU, Cant you give it up now as it is getting quite tedious to say the least.0

Why would he? He's not an IFA.
I doubt he has qualifications to be a veterinary surgeon either.I am an Independent Financial Adviser. Any comments I make here are intended for information / discussion only. What has this topic got to do with "Savings and Investments"? Please could the moderators transfer this and similar threads to the "Debate" forum where the OP will no doubt find he is among friends.0

I agree, the thread should be closed.
And I dont see anything wrong with the head of the BOE warning of possible shocks to the economy. It is part of his job.0 -
I think the OP is being a bit childish tbh with his persistent posts....we are no where near finding out the implications of the Brexit decision (as many have said we don't even know what 'Brexit' is yet), and I believe it will take many years before we will be able to fully assess the impact.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Neither Lawson nor Lamont are experts on this subject.
Lawson had a policy of shadowing the DM, and Lamont tried and failed while trying to keep us in the ERM at a rate that was reasonably obvious as too high from the start.
It's a bit late for people like that to still be trying to get revenge on things that they used to be much keener on, but humiliated them due to their own failures, and that long ago.

For example Brexit to free up £350m pw to spend on the NHS? Not only untrue but Farage then claimed he had never said it despite video evidence proving he did0 -
Strange you don't get equally upset about the many lies the Brexit camp told.
For example Brexit to free up £350m pw to spend on the NHS? Not only untrue but Farage then claimed he had never said it despite video evidence proving he didRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
