Confused by phone prices, also A 2016 camera query

I'm guessing that phone / contract prices are all messed up since the iPhone 7 release simply because they've yet to settle down. But I'm starting to get really frustrated by it.

For example, right now, it's cheaper to buy a galaxy 7 than an iPhone 6 at tescos... with a very standard package.

Does anyone know when the prices are likely to be sorted out? I'm wondering some providers are waiting until the Christmas run-up to push the iPhone 6 price reduction as a sale price?

Also, is there anyone who can tell me what the Samsung A2016 camera is like? The reviews are mixed. I need a camera that does good indoor shots to photograph artwork. If this camera is up to it I can save myself a lot of frustration and cash. Any opinions will be gratefully received
