But you can only buy in blocks of £100, so there'd be a thread asking where £31.20 could be invested.0 -
Get £100 pounds worth of premium bonds & spend the remaining money over the year on seeds. After 5 years you should have a garden you can be thoroughly proud of, and a bunch of new skills (like patience) along with notably improved flexibility.0

Shove it on the fillies: Dance Band in the 18.10 at Wolverhampton.. My random pin technique at work.0

Buy a half sovereign. To diversify your portfolio, put the balance in the highest rate savings a/c you can find.principlecounts wrote: »I am in possession of £131.20.
Where is the best place to put it? I'm willing to put somewhere high risk, and maybe release it in 5 years time.Thanks.
One is high risk, the other is no risk..._

Premium bonds or if you are hard up just put it in any savings account and just keep adding to it.0

Consider an adult education course in a topic that you find interesting.

Go to an auction and bid £131.20 for something that seems to be worth more0

Not true.
"41. Bonds may be purchased in multiples of £1.The minimum purchase at any time is £100 (one hundred £1 units). "

There would only be 20p left to invest.0 -
I opened my funding circle account with £100 in Feb, I think I now have about £107.
Maybe you could do something similar?
The thing is with P2P your capital is at risk for around 2% more than you can get in a TSB account.
If you want to gamble go the bookies, you could even do this online and you will almost certainly get a better return.
Arsenal to beat Burnley is paying 1/2 with some bookmakers, £50 back for every £100 you put on.
Not the most sensible choice in my opinion but if you want high risk here it is. No less risky than P2PEarn, Save and Achieve0
