It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

    You can't anymore.

Download and install Windows Live Mail instead which is a replacement for OE and has Hotmail access.

You can't as it has the same restrictions as Outlook Express. You need to download and install Windows Live Mail which isn't the same thing as Vista's Windows Mail although the interface seems similar.

I've got OE and do have Hotmail accounts on it. But I've been using Hotmail for a VERY long time and I suspect I have squatters rights

Another option is to download Thunderbird for which you can get a webmail add-on. The only problem I know of is that it ignores any folders you've added and dumps everything in inbox or sent

Go here and "right click" then "Save as" webmail 1.2.4.xpi.
Save it to a folder on your hard drive.
Do the same for Hotmail 1.2.9
    1. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open the extension manager > Tools > Add Ons
    2. Click the Install button, and locate/select the "webmail-1.2.4.xpi" file you downloaded and click "OK".
    3. Restart Thunderbird.
    4. Open the extension manager again...then install "hotmail-1.2.9.xpi" in exactly the same way.
    5. Restart Thunderbird.
    6. File > New > Account > Webmail.
    7. Put your Hotmail account settings in. Pop defaults to port 110, SMTP to Port 25. Use your existing main email account SMTP settings and username/password
*This works for Hotmail on a very old account. I've upgraded to Live Mail and it still works.
