  • With an attitude like that, I'm imagining a Vicky Pollard type of person rockin up to the school gates.........

When I was 12 I had no say about my footwear for school. I'm going back nearly 30 years ago, but I still had to wear what my mother bought me. She paid for them so I had to.
Different if your child was buying them with her pocket money as that's her choice. Although the type of boots you are talking about are not a sensible choice for school, especially come winter time.
If she doesn't like what you were originally planning on buying, well that's tough titty! She will just have to go with no shoes on at all.

This below is what annoys me the most, irritates me when I see people walking in boots that end up like that!!!!

Come back at the end of the winter and let us know:
    1) how her feet are doing
    2) how the boots are standing up to regular wear

The sign of a "quality troll" is their attention to detail and ability to keep their "facts" straight.

You've failed the most basic test as:

    1) you started this thread exactly one week ago, on Monday
    2) you bought her boots last Tuesday
    3) your daughter was going to begin wearing them the following day (Wednesday)

Therefore she cannot have been wearing them for over a week :T
  • I'm being serious. She has been wearing them since Wednesday but she wore them over the weekend while we were out aswell

Because sometimes, we just do!:j We know its a rubbish thread, so more rubbish is added - no-one who is sensible enough to use MSE is daft enough to send their children to school in pumps or mock-uggs
  • I would post a pick of the uggs if I knew how to
