    Driving defensively does not guarantee that you won't have an accident. A crystal ball might, but working models are in short supply. If I find one, I'll do the lottery.

    It's about reducing the opportunity though, more often than not rta's are a product of one or more drivers making an error.
    Having a crystal ball wouldn't change the chances of a win or not, only that one would know beforehand.

    They would change the odds for me if I saw the winning lottery numbers in the crystal ball! Do keep up! ;)

    I get what you mean, however, I can envisage me getting the jackpot, but I bet that week there would be hundreds of winners with the same numbers.
