Don't know about Apple, but on Android there is an app called "FakeGPS Free" that allows you to force your phone to believe it is wherever you set it to.
Edit:
This may help?

Isn't the streaming service going to get the location from the ip the phone's using rather than anything to do with gps?
You'd need a vpn that masks the real ip. Are there any that an iPhone can use?0 -

Thanks, I'm not very techy but I understand that and remember reading somewhere that it could be done, just cannot find it.....0 -
It's a broadcast rights issue, the work around is to use a VPN to access the web from a UK IP address, the free ones I've tried are pretty useless and I don't want to pay for one just to be able to access some UK content when on holiday.
In addition, I understand the broadcasters are getting cute and blocking access from known VPN addresses.0 -
If its just for accessing the web and not streaming then download either (or both) Vypr VPN or tunnelbear from the appstore, both give free VPN data of 500mb a month, if you want to stream you will have to purchase a sub for more data.:beer:0

thank you will give it a go. Not for streaming, just to mainly log into my fantasy football as I'm top our league and cannot afford to miss two weeks worth of games :rotfl:0
