I thought I would just pop by to say hello.
Funny thing age. Did your parents tell you that time passes quicker the older you are? Who knew, parents knew stuff.
The older I get, the more I understand this.
I keep looking at summer clothes online but realistically I know I have sufficient. Some of the clothes at the younger end of the market are truly beautiful.
Have a good rest of the week, take care honey

I use the Clinique anti shine powder compact, looks white but goes on clear, has a mirror. Fairly pricey but lasts ages.
You can get Pilates and yoga apps might be worth investigating.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
That was the same email I got. I contacted them with my bank details, they were all full of apologies but still nothing! Have emailed again today. Am hoping will get paid when the website has changed. Very annoying, will be interested to see how you get on!Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.1

If you don't go for the one suggested above, my friend got a vintage powder compact on eBay . It reminds me of my gran when she gets it out, but she loves it. Just puts her refills in and away she goes. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com1

I actually received the email with the link to the survey yesterday afternoon. Completed it (I've asked for a cheque), emailed it off and received back a confirmation that I'll receive it within 20 to 28 days. See what happens now!117pauline wrote: »I thought I would just pop by to say hello.

Time flies past so quickly Pauline as you get older!:(. When I was a child/teenager things moved more slowly and I can remember clearly - now it seems that whole months fly by and I wonder what I've been up to! Thank goodness I have this diary!:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

That's the yoga DVD I've got Hairy! Funnily enough I can't find the Darcy Bussell DVD - it might have gone in the last DVD cull that I had! But I found one called "Yoga for Inflexible People" which I'd forgotten I had! I think I'll start with this one.......:DSun_Addict wrote: »I use the Clinique anti shine powder compact, looks white but goes on clear, has a mirror. Fairly pricey but lasts ages.

I did have a refillable Clinique powder compact a few years ago, but I lost it and didn't replace it. It was square, silver with a ridged lid - really nice. I think I'll investigate to see if they still sell it.
So pleased the work week is over - went to bed early last night. Feel much more refreshed today.
Heard some sad news that one of my cousins passed away after a long illness - and well before his time. I bought some sympathy cards for his family yesterday. The funeral is being held in a few weeks so I will be attending.
I'm buying some cinema 2 for 1 tickets today - my friend and I are off to see "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" tomorrow as there is finally a film showing that we both want to see! I wouldnt have minded seeing "The Quiet Ones" but she doesn't like horror films so will have to wait to see it on Netflix or Amazon!:)
Anyway it's a quiet day today - housework and ironing this afternoon! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Enjoy the film, the book was really excellent.

Thanks Hairy - I've just got home from the cinema - my friend and I both really enjoyed it - such a lovely film.
The ten minutes yoga session a day is a good idea - can I really do it?!!!!!
It was freezing when we were walking to the car park from the cinema! It felt like winter was back!:(
I had a bit of a result! DD is taking me for away the weekend next month as a birthday present. She's been rather busy at work lately and asked me to book the hotel and she would reimburse me. So I used trivago to get the best rate which was Expedia. I got 10% off as I'm an Expedia member, but the best thing was that Expedia was giving a special rate of 15% if you went through topcashback so I received £52.14! I'll knock it off the Expedia bill.
Going back to the powder compact saga, I found the Clinique compact that I had before on their website. With the powder it was over £152! The compact that I lost was originally a present but I didn't realise it was this much! Plus the new version has Clinique written all over it! I like the look of the Clinique anti shine powder that Sun Addict recommended (hadn't seen it before so thank you for the tip). The compact it was in looked nice as well. I received some House of Fraser vouchers for my birthday from the work desk and also my friend which I was going to keep back for my more expensive make up so will use up some of these for the powder.
Things on for next week:
Monday - out in the evening with my friend for drinks;
Wednesday - off work as at theatre with DSis,
Thursday - nails,
Friday - off work as having new front door fitted.
So busy week and then three days off for the Bank Holiday weekend!:jFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
