The kitchen sounds lovely - we have been talking again about a revamp of ours - will look into maybe just new doors from the company we got ours from but it’ll be well into next year.
It sounds like you had a lovely time at your dds.
We are travelling to out dds which is a little town by the coast so a lovely walk by the sea with the gks will be lovely to blow the excesses of Christmas off.January spends - £587.581 -

I'm very pleased with it Hairy. The old kitchen was letting down the rest of the flat! And it's lovely to have a dishwasher again!:)in_need_of_direction wrote: »Your mention of Leadenhall is making me tear up. I am really missing a pre Christmas trip to London.
I do love Leadenhall Market at Christmas! It's so Victorian. Will you get to London next Christmas do you think? The kitchen sounds lovely - we have been talking again about a revamp of ours - will look into maybe just new doors from the company we got ours from but it’ll be well into next year.

I know some people who got just the new doors and worktops for their kitchen milann - looked really good - you'd have thought it was a completely new kitchen.
Your coastal plans sound lovely! Funnily enough I've only done our own seaside walk once on Boxing Day in all the time I've been living here - I've usually been at DSis's which is a few miles away. It was mobbed when I went for my walk! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

The ipad has died so I'm posting at work again! Luckily we've got an IT repair type place across the road from where I live so I'm taking it tomorrow to see if they can replace the portal.
Lunch yesterday with boss was great fun and the food and drink lush! Afterwards we went for more drinks at a new club/hotel that has opened near work - which was mobbed, but again had a really good time - met up with some other peeps from work - got back into the office just before 5pm - read my one message, logged off and went home!
I finally posted my Christmas cards as well!
Tomorrow's list of jobs include: (a) take ipad to hospital; (b) order wreath for Mum and Dad's grave; (c) pedicure; (d)thorough clean of the flat; (e) mammoth present wrapping session! Then watching the Strictly final in the evening!
Sunday I'm meeting my friend for a Christmas brunch then picking up my decorations and will be putting up these - plus wrapping up any presents that didn't get done the day before!
Will also have a reccie of finances at the weekend though YNAB not looking too mad at the moment.

Glad the clearing up is going well
I was really scrupulous about what back into my new kitchen cupboards.
I think small work Christmas parties are much nicer than the big ones where you end up shouting over the noise and you can guarantee I end up talking to the drunk tearful ones or the really boring ones. Glad you enjoyed yours and it will be lovely to have the one in the new year to look forward to when it all goes flat after Christmas.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
Thanks to you both!
My ipad is still out of action - it needs a new battery and a new charging portal (£120!!!!) but I won't get it back till at least the end of next week!:(
As I can't post from my phone as it drives me mad, and I'm not back in work now till next Friday, I'm posting this very quick email before I leave work. I'll be reading people's posts though even though I won't be posting myself so I'd like to take this opportunity of wishing all my friends on MSE a very, very happy Christmas to you all and your families!
